Statuses

Statuses are used to:

  • Describe the state of your inventory items
  • Set inventory levels
  • Drive notifications to Category Managers based on changes in the status levels
  • Quickly filter the items on the Dashboard (Quick Filter buttons)

In the Inventory Statuses code table, you establish the name for the status. A status could be ‘par – in service’, ‘broken’, ‘expired’, ‘out for repair’, ‘reorder’, etc. Choose words that are common in your agency to describe the state of items.

  1. On the left nav bar, click Configuration and then Code Tables.
  2. Enter ‘inv’ in the search bar and select Inventory Statuses.
  3. In the ‘Status’ field, enter the status name.
  4. Hidden: The status name displays as a quick filter button on the Dashboard.

    If you don’t want this status to have a button, click Yes.

    If you do want a quick filter button for this status, leave the hidden option set to NO.
