Validation Banners
ZOLL Billing is a smart, rules-driven system designed to streamline claim processing. It uses built-in billing rules to determine when to suspend a claim, when to submit it to the clearinghouse, and when to bill the next payer. The system automatically validates claim information against these rules and alerts you to any issues that need your attention.
As you import or manually enter information, and as the claim moves through various stages of processing, the system continuously validates claim information against its billing rules. To inform you of successful actions and warn you about problems or critical issues, the system provides validation banners.
No banner: No major or minor errors were detected.
Green banner: Action was successful. You will see this banner when you successfully save a claim.
Yellow banner: Warning errors that could potentially affect the processing of the claim and therefore should be addressed.
Red banner: Critical errors that must be addressed prior to submitting the claim. If a critical error exists, the system will not submit the claim to the clearinghouse.
